(*)Member Lapsed is for an individual that has not been a member of Blacklion for at least 3 years.
MEMBERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY MEMBERSHIP OR HAVE AN AGREED PLAN IN PLACE BEFORE THE 1ST 18 HOLE COMPETITION OR THE 17TH OF MARCH (whichever falls first).
ENTRY TO COMPETITIONS WILL BE VOID AND ENTRANCE FEES LOST IF REQUIREMENT IS NOT ADHERED TO.
FURTHER BREACHES WILL RESULT IN A DECISION TO FREEZE OR LAPSE THE MEMBER’S ACCOUNT.
Family Membership (**) Full membership which entitles both husband and wife / Partner to play in club competitions. (Over 65 discount does not apply to this already discounted rate)
Country Membership ® entitles holders to play in club competitions but they do not qualify for President’s or Captain’s prizes or Golfer of the Year Points. There is no distance restriction, but applicants must be full members of another affiliated golf club and can only be accepted as such on receipt of a handicap certificate.
Distance Members ® must reside over a 60miles/100km radius of golf club & entitles holders to play in club competitions but they do not qualify for President’s or Captain’s prizes or Golfer of the Year Points.
Course Membership entitles holders to play golf on the course but not participate in competitions or receive a WHS Handicap.
Member Lapsed (**) is for an individual that has not been a member of Blacklion for at least 3 years. And enters directly into Intro Year 2 Rate.
Student Membership ® (*) is for over 18s and are in full time education ( Max 4 Years )
Student and Juvenile with Handicap ® can enter all club competitions but are restricted from winning 1st Prize in Captains, Presidents or Golfer of the Year.
Graduate Membership (*) is for over 22s and is ONLY available to Blacklion Gc Student Members (*) as part of a gradual ascendancy to Full Member ( Max 2 Years ) .
Beginner Buddy (**) is a discounted rate for NEW Intro Year 1 members who come as a PAIR. ( in year 2 returning to normal intro year 2 rate).
Lady GIG Beginner (**) is for Ladies who signed up and paid for the “Get Into Golf” programme and wish to continue to have access to course for the remainder of year.
Over 65s (*) are members who have reached the age of 65 before 1st January 2026 and who have been members for at least 5 years are entitled to an additional 5% reduction. This does not apply to insurance, which must be paid in full.
ALL MEMBERS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 20 SCORES ENTERED/RECORDED TO GOLF IRELAND TO QUALIFY FOR WINNING A MAJOR COMPETITION.
ALL RATES INCLUDING INTRODUCTORY PROGRESSION RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT THE CLUBS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.
A fee of €28.00 for Golfer’s Insurance should be added to the annual subscription. This is optional but is strongly recommended. This insurance does not apply to juvenile or pavilion members. In the case of family membership €56 will be necessary to cover both husband and wife / partner, unless the club is informed otherwise. Prices correct at time of printing but may be subject to change.
